How much does a Scotch Tasting Cost, etc.

A Scotch Tasting will typically involve three Scotches, selected by the host or sponsor, typically with ample advice from the Ambassador. 

Because Scotch can cost, roughly speaking, from $20 to $20,000 per bottle the liquor cost is variable but completely up to you. 

Total cost typically depends on three variables plus the price of the Scotch you select.

A) The Ambassador's stipend

B) The number of guests

C) The Scotch Tariff

A fee may be added for significant long distance travel.

There will be a written contract for all costs and services.

I'm Flexible, a Flat Rate can also be agreed upon.

No surprises. No disappointments.

Typically 3 standard (750 ml) bottles are used. With one ounce poured from each for each participant. So a tasting with 12 participants would consume approximately one half of a each bottle.  The remainder of the Scotch, and the knowledge gained, stays with the tasting's sponsor or host.  

The number is up to you. The number of participants is a consideration but not a major driver of overall cost.

Flexible, I assure you. Each tasting is custom designed to satisfy the sponsor's objectives. House warming, executive coaching, bachelor party, patron appreciation in a VIP setting, etc. The objective is to have a great time while bonding over the fascination with, and appreciation of, Scotch.
